RHODubai star Lesa Milan was shocked over producers’ decision to pause the show. However, the drama-filled reunion was “painful” for her to film, which left her happy for the temporary break.
Everyone was on the edge of their seats when The Real Housewives of Dubai reunion aired. Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan quickly launched themselves into a heated screaming match, and it was major awks.
Lesa Milan almost quit RHODubai
Lesa Milan admits she almost quit RHODubai following the “painful” reunion last season. She told FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas how “there were moments where I was like, I’m not doing this anymore.”
“It was so painful sitting across from someone and watching them lie and gaslight me. I just kept checking in and checking out,” admits Milan, who fought with Chanel Ayan.
At the reunion, a clip was shown of Milan sending Ayan a voice note of Sara Al Madani talking about their castmates, which led to Ayan playing the recording to Caroline Stanbury.
Taleen Marie and Sara Al Madani said producers asserted during filming that Milan was aware of the voice note before the meal, while Milan made it clear the voice note contents aren’t as bad as Ayan playing it.
She felt ‘surprised’ about pause
Milan was left “happy and surprised” about RHODubai being put on pause. “We were 100% expecting a season three and were caught by surprise that we were put on pause,” she admitted.
The Bravo star continued: “The producers held a group meeting, and said Listen, you guys did great, but right now we have to put the show on pause. We’ll let you know what’s to come.’”
“In my cast, people like to pretend like they know more than they do. There’s always rumours and people saying, I heard this, and someone else heard this. I don’t believe it unless I hear it from Bravo,” she added.
Milan said: “Bravo pays me so unless it comes from the horse’s mouth, I just take it with a pinch of salt. For me, it’s actually a good thing, because now I can explore and do so many other things.
“I’m excited. I’m one of those housewives that already had a business prior to coming on the show, which is also why the shake up and the pause is okay, now I get to focus on that.”
