LIV Golfer Dustin Johnson was recently seen playing a round of golf with President-elect Donald Trump. The 4Aces captain along with his brother, Austin, teed off with Trump at one of his courses at Palm Beach Florida.
Recently, Johnson was spotted alongside his wife, Paulina, and his father-in-law Wayne Gretzky at an election party hosted by Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort. The two-time major champion is one of the golfers alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Anthony Kim who have openly endorsed Trump.
Austin Johnson, the brother of Dustin Johnson, shared some pictures and videos on Instagram. In the caption, he would write, “Nice day of golf with the boys 45&47!!! 🇺🇸” as they spend some time golfing with the 45th and 47th US President.
In the video shared by Austin, Trump could be seen taking a few practice swings. After that, he would hit a tee shot whose crack would echo throughout the course leading to Austin saying, “Oh a beauty there, sir right down the middle“.

Recently, Trump was also seen playing a round of golf with his granddaughter Kai Trump. The 78-year-old was spotted sitting in a cart and looking on as her granddaughter got in position to take a shoot. One of his close aides, Elon Musk, was also present there.
Donald Trump playing golf has many times ignited some wild reactions on social media. On many occasions, he has been slammed for doing this instead of working. However, instead of Trump, it is Dustin Johnson who is receiving backlash from social media users this time.

Fans on X blasted Johnson online while calling out the 40-year-old golfer for this move. While one fan wrote, “Even more reason to not like Dustin Johnson“, another fan ridiculed people for calling him a “star” while taking a dig at his recent performances.

The year 2024 had several ups and downs for Johnson. After starting the season brightly with a T5 finish and a victory in the first two LIV Golf events, the golfer’s form took a massive dip. Following this, he only achieved two more top-10 finishes in 13 LIV Golf events.
Things did not even change at the major championships this year. He missed the cut at the Masters and the U.S. Open, two events which he has won previously. Apart from them, he finished T43 and T31 at the PGA Championship and the Open Championship respectively.
