Most people forget that JoJo Siwa has been in the spotlight since she was a young girl. Those who never watched Lifetime’s Dance Moms, might not know that JoJo trained with no-nonsense and strict dance coach Abby Lee Miller. It was on the show that JoJo wore her famous colorful bows that would become her trademark.
As JoJo got older, she shed her Nickelodeon image and got rid of her bows. She was praised for coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, but some of her actions have come into question. She’s received backlash for defending her old dance coach, after other dancers described Abby as abusive, and her transition into “adult” music hasn’t received the best criticism.
JoJo’s spending tendencies have also made headlines. The former reality TV star has bragged about the thousands of dollars she’s dropped on girlfriends and on herself.

Fans love how JoJo Siwa is able to be her authentic self. However, these same fans have also questioned her outrageous spending habits. Case in point, the “Karma” singer dropping $30,000 on her partner, Dakayla Wilson, for her 19th birthday.
It’s not certain when JoJo and Dakayla began dating, but they made things Instagram official in August when the So You Think You Can Dance alum shared with other dancers in what appeared to be a dance studio, that she had a girlfriend, which turned out to be JoJo.
The former reality TV star had initially wanted to keep her relationship with Dakayla private, but shared with People a reiteration of that day at the dance studio.
“Honestly, I’ve been very open about not wanting to be public. And so when we kind of got together, it was just—it was literally one day where she was teaching a dance class and the girls in the class and the boys in the class were like, kind of looking at us. Then one was like, ‘Why are you here, JoJo?’ And finally I just came up to her and I was like, ‘Yeah, why am I here?’ And I gave her [Wilson] the look like, ‘It’s okay, you can say,’ and then they were videoing that, and so we were like, ‘You know what? It’s public.'”
Since going public with her girlfriend, JoJo had no problem revealing just how much money she spent on Dakayla’s 19th birthday present. Dakayla was shocked that JoJo shelled out a whopping $30,000 on her. Speaking to E! News, JoJo, said,
“We’re about to take her on the best birthday extravaganza, we’re going to Hawaii. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
JoJo continued, “But look, it’s not about the money. It’s about the person, it’s about the time and the thing you do and the experience.” Interestingly, that’s not the most the singer has spent on a partner.

In October, JoJo Siwa was a guest on Hailey Welch’s Talk Tuah podcast where she revealed that she went to great lengths to get some action. When JoJo was asked, “What’s the craziest date you’ve ever been on?” JoJo shared a very shocking answer.
“This is so bad. One time, I spent 60 grand in one weekend on this girl just to get laid, and it didn’t work.”
Explaining to the hosts that she was “just horny,” JoJo shared what exactly she spent $60,000 on—“Courtside Lakers, backstage Disney, security, first class tickets.”
Unfortunately, all that spending didn’t help JoJo because she revealed that the woman she was pursuing did not end up going all the way with her.

“My teeth,” she told the reporter. She added, “These motherf***** cost me 50 grand.”
When JoJo was 17, she decided to get veneers, which are popular among celebrities. Veneers can typically range from $600 to $2,500 per tooth, with several factors influencing the cost. With JoJo admitting to spending $50,000, she may just have the best teeth in Hollywood.
