RHOC’s Vicki and Tamra were at war with each other last week across podcasts and social media. This week, Vicki has once again used her podcast platform to tell the world she will no longer be associated with Tamra.
Real Housewives of Orange County OG Vicki Gunvalson seems to have beef with fellow OC housewife Tamra Judge. The two have appeared in one series of a new spin-off show together called The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. This show follows our favorite wives as they vacation together and season two saw Gunvalson and Judge head off to Massachusetts. Though Vicki had confrontation with Dorinda Medley, not Tamra, during the show it seems the pair are no longer on good terms. The OG announced when it comes to Tamra on a trip, she’s out!
‘It’s much deeper than not wanting to be friends’
On September 9, 2024, in Vicki Gunvalson’s My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, with co-host Christian Gray Snow, she opened up about her terrifying health scare, along with some classic gossip.
Answering listener questions Vicki is posed with having to admit: “Who would you hate to do an Ultimate Girl’s Trip with?”
Vicki played it coy at first saying: “You know what I, I don’t really have anybody I hate, I don’t.”
Pushed for a bit of scandal, co-host Christian prompted her by asking who, when she got the cast list, would she be “nervous” about working with.
This time the 62-year-old didn’t need any time to think about this answer: “Probably Tamra right now because we’re at odds and I don’t want to be filming with her ever again.”
Gunvalson goes on to clarify with listeners that there are “two sides to every story” and it doesn’t matter which of the pair fans are supporting.
“I stepped back because I didn’t like the way she was treating people,” the Bravo star explained.
She continued, referencing a quote she read in the Bible to the effect of “we are who we hang around with”, to explain that Tamra is someone she wholly doesn’t want to be associated with.
Vicki started to drag Tamra through the mud by dropping some of her less savory actions in relation to name-calling and public nudity, she confirmed: “That’s not who I am and that’s not who I want my clients or my family to think I’m friends with.”
Gunvalson concluded that she just doesn’t want to be around people who she wouldn’t be “proud to say that’s my friend”.
Judge calls Gunvalson ‘disgusting in every sense of the word’
The pair have been at each other’s throats on social media throughout September 2024, mostly in relation to Tamra Judge’s daughter Sidney Barney. Sidney became estranged from her mom following her parent’s divorce.
“Unfortunately, Sidney’s on Simon’s side. She doesn’t really speak to any of us. It’s difficult. It’s like your child’s dead, but they’re still alive,” Judge shared in the RHOC season 18 premiere.
The Two T’s in a Pod host denied her time on RHOC had anything to do with her fallout, after Gunvalson claimed Barney wanted her mom to “get off” the show and “stop embarrassing the family.”
Gunvalson dug the knife in, in the September 2 episode of her podcast when she said: “Go apologize and make it better and move on!” Urging Judge to: “Reconcile with your daughter! It’s pretty simple.”
Tamra was not taking this as friendly advice, clapping back she posted on social media she believes it is “disgusting” for her former friend to discuss the drama publicly. She went as far as to call Gunvalson: “Disgusting in every sense of the word.”
It has since all become too much for Judge as she sobbed into the camera recently and told fans: “You win, Vicki. I don’t know what you want from me, but you got it. You win, OK?”
She then added: “You can have my spot on the show. You can have whatever you want. Just please leave my family alone.”
