Jackie Goldschneider is suffering major backlash after her antics on season 14 of RHONJ, leading her to have a terrible summer.
Fall is just around the bend and it’s time to dust off those knits and start pumpkin-spicing everything. If you’re looking forward to cooler climes and orange hues, you’re not the only one, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider can’t wait too. However, it’s not because of sweat messing up her outfit, she revealed in her podcast that she’s really been ‘through it’ this summer.
RHONJ season 14 left many cast members on bad terms
Season 14 of RHONJ has come with some major explosive moments, so much so, many of the show’s cast members are no longer on talking terms.
Drama started seasons ago when Teresa Giudice had spread a rumor about Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, “cheating” on her while at the gym.
This sparked a bit of payback in Goldschneider who met up with Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas’ exes to gather some intel.
Teresa and Luis blamed Margaret Josephs for the meet-up, they suggested she was leaking negative stories to the press.
Then, Margaret shocked everyone with the bombshell that it was instead Jackie who was stirring the pot, all in the name of revenge. The reveal has left Margaret feeling vindicated after the truth finally came out.
As far as we know, many of the RHONJ cast still aren’t on speaking terms, Jackie and Margaret, and Jackie and Teresa no longer have friendships.
‘We trusted you Jackie’
Jackie has her own ideas for how the show got ‘ruined’ and she blames social media: “I think that social media and the way we talk about each other and everything surrounding this show has gotten so toxic.” The mama of four told OK! Magazine.
She at least admitted to doing some of her own online stirring by saying: “I can’t complain about that if I’m contributing to it.”
At this point the star believes “it’s all gone too far” and that the cast continue “destroying the show more and more” when they continue to tear “each other apart in the press.”
The cast aren’t the only ones who are full of vitriol on social media. On a recent Instagram post on Jackie’s page, advertising her new book, fans have retorted: “No thanks! You showed your true colors this season.”
“You’ve lied for 3 years,” shared another fan, who added their disappointment: “We trusted you Jackie. And when you stood up to Teresa for what SHE did to you, that gave many of us courage also. Now, we also feel betrayed.”
Many share the same sentiments: “I rated you before, thought you were real, able to stand up for what was right but unfortunately you sold out!!….disappointed is an understatement.”
‘I did not have a great summer.’
On the September 10 episode of her podcast, Two Jersey J’s, the Bravo star expressed to fans the difficult time she is having dealing with all the fall-out since the show aired.
She began: “I did not have a great summer, so I’ve been looking forward to the fall.”
“The summer was tough, just had, you know, like a crappy show experience, of course, and then social media beat me up, so that was not fun.”
Things must have got too much for the New Jersey resident to handle online as she revealed she “really wasn’t posting anything in August.”
During a discussion about what and what not to wear in your forties she talks about her husband Evan who is “as handsome as can be.” She tells fans how he entered his next decade by turning fifty in August, an event many of them would have missed.
She said: “The reason a lot of you don’t know is because I signed off of Instagram during that time.”
Let’s hope that fall put a bit of pumpkin-spice back in her step and we see these ladies reunite for another season!
