Happening now: Nigeria’s Super Eagles Depart Uyo to Kigali For Rwanda AFCON Qualifier [VIDEO]

Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Sunday left Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital to Kigali ahead of second group 2025 Africa Cup of Nations match against Rwanda scheduled for Tuesday September 10, 2024.

The team led by interim coach Austin Eguavoen are departing aboard chartered flight from Uyo international airport.

The Nigerian on Saturday thrashed loud-mouthed Benin Republic 3-0 in the first AFCON qualifier game.

Ballon d’Or nominee Ademola Lookman netted brace, while reigning African footballer of the year Victor Osimhen came as substitute to score once in the match.
