Former Columbian F1 racer Juan Pablo Montoya has shared his thoughts on the dynamic McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The latter overtook Norris with a swift move during the first lap of the Italian GP, provoking varied reactions across the grid.
McLaren is in fine form, securing three wins and 15 podiums so far this season. Lando Norris has been the star performer for the team this year. On the other hand, Oscar Piastri has also shown great desire in maximizing his performances, which has caused strong battles between the two.
Juan Pablo Montoya has thereafter commented on Piastri’s move at Monza, claiming that the latter took advantage of Norris’ limitations. Norris is currently the prime contender against Max Verstappen for the drivers’ championship, which has compelled him to race cautiously on certain occasions.

Nico Rosberg insists its difficult for Oscar Piastri to let go of chances this season
German F1 racer Nico Rosberg has backed Oscar Piastri’s approach to racing in light of his move at the Italian GP. Piastri has been a top performer for the Woking-based team ever since the start of this year.

Nico Rosberg has stated that Piastri deserves every opportunity for his resilient efforts throughout the season. He then said that the 23-year-old is on par with Norris, which makes it difficult for the team to make him give up his chances.
McLaren is now shy of just eight points of the leader, Red Bull, in the constructors’ championship. The remaining races will prove to be a stern test as they aim for a title triumph for the first time since 1998.
