Former Ivory Coast defender, Souleymane Bamba, popularly known as Sol Bamba, who played in the English Premier League (EPL) has died, aged 39, in Turkey.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Turkish club, Adanaspor A.S., where Sol Bamba was technical director, announced the death of the Ivorian on Saturday.
“Our Technical Director Souleymane Bamba, who fell ill before the Manisa Football Club match played yesterday, was taken to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital and unfortunately lost his battle for life there. Our condolences to his family and our community,” a statement by Adanaspor reads.
