The veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who still believes there are at least two or three Super Bowls left in him, proved why he is counted among the elites after the Jets’ remarkable 24-3 victory against the New England Patriots. Though his performance received tons of appreciation, a tense moment between him and head coach Robert Saleh caught everyone’s attention even more.
Till the second quarter, the Jets hadn’t allowed their opponents to score a single point whereas they were in the lead at 14-3 (end of HT). As halftime kicked in, the veteran returned to the sideline and exchanged high-fives with Saleh. However, as the latter went in to hug Rodgers for his performance, he shoved his head coach with a firm glare before walking away.
The team’s performance got overshadowed by this awkward encounter between the head coach and signal-caller to such an extent that as Rodgers appeared at the post-game press conference, the first question asked was about this.

Since the Jets won the match, they quickly dismissed any conspiracy theories suggesting a rift between the head coach and the quarterback with a big smile. The important part for them is the second consecutive victory, which seems to suggest that the season might go well for them after the disappointment of last year.
Robert Saleh explains awkward sideline moment with Aaron Rodgers
The four-time NFL MVP wasn’t the only one, who was asked about the awkward sideline moment at halftime on Thrusday. He too laughed it off saying that they had previously discussed giving the defense a two-score lead and as they did, Saleh wanted to celebrate with a bro-hug but Rodgers didn’t like it was yet time to celebrate.

Additionally, the Jets head coach was happy seeing his team’s mobility that gave a promising outlook during the training camp. After the poor season opener, the team has begun catching up the pace and if everything goes well, they might be racing up among the contenders.
