Cat ended Love Is Blind UK walking down the aisle to meet her partner, Freddie Powell. But, when it came to saying ‘I do’, Freddie didn’t commit and the two went their separate ways. There’s a silver lining for Cat, however, as she reveals she’s in a relationship with someone else from the show, Jake Singleton-Hill.
Cat has a new boyfriend
As the Love Is Blind UK reunion episode arrives on August 26, fans are eagerly anticipating finding out the latest from the cast.
Many have been searching to find out which of the couples is still together since filming. While some of the reality TV stars are keen to keep things under wraps, Cat is sharing her love life on a Bailiwick Express podcast episode this summer.
Speaking in her first interview back in Jersey, Cat explains how her last date in the pods was with someone who shared a dog with his ex.
Because of the guy’s ties to his former beau, Cat wrote him off immediately.
But, she later adds: “I am with someone from the pods.”
Forming a connection with Jake
Reflecting on her Love Is Blind UK journey, Cat said she’s “so happy” to have done it with Freddie.
But, now she’s dating someone else from the Netflix show.
“You know the guy I was just talking about with the dog? Yeah, it’s him…” she reveals.
“…and the dog lives with us, it’s great.”
Cat explains: “So, Jake, his journey, he was in the pods but he wasn’t chosen, he got engaged, but he wasn’t chosen to go on the retreat, so not everyone is picked. Netflix only chooses five couples.”
“His journey was very rough in there, like he had a roller coaster of emotions, the way he was treated…”
She continues: “I reached out to him. I hadn’t seen him, I only saw Freddie and the couples on the retreat.”
Cat adds how she came across Jake on social media and decided to message him to “check-in.”
She explains: “I was in the girl lounge with his fiancé, I knew the drama that was going on…”
Cat says Jake asked her if she was married before she told him: “Funny story, no…”
The two FaceTimed for five hours that same evening, they spoke every day for five weeks and then Cat said she went to visit Jake for the weekend.
“Now we live together with the dog…” she laughs.
