Tyler Cameron was famously dumped on The Bachelorette. After his relationship with Hannah Brown didn’t quite go as he’d planned, he opted to make a success of the whole situation rather than walk away from the show heartbroken. Tyler’s had his fair share of relationship woes, but he says he’s a “dating pro” seeing how the Golden Bachelor couple is now divorcing.
After appearing on The Bachelorette, Tyler went on to star in his own Amazon Prime TV show. He went from “Bachelor to Builder” as he embarked on a new career in construction. Since then, he’s really made a name for himself among Bachelor Nation.
Tyler Cameron weighs in on Golden Bachelor
Appearing on SiriusXM’s The Happy Hour this April, Tyler shared his thoughts on the news The Golden Bachelor couple are no longer together.
On April 12, Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce to the world appearing on Good Morning America.
After tying the knot on live TV, fans were in love with their love story and couldn’t get over how adorable it was they’d found partners later in life.
However, due to not wanting to move locations, the two are divorcing. And, Tyler isn’t impressed.
Speaking on The Happy Hour he said:
“Three months? They make all my relationships seem very long. You know what I mean? Like, golly, I’m a dating expert compared to them…They put a stain on love and Bachelor Nation because it was the most wholesome… Like, it brought so much joy back to The Bachelor of not this like, people wanting to go on just to be influencers, that like brought like joy and true love – that we thought. And then they just pulled the rug right out from under us.”
Tyler has a ‘theory’
Any of Tyler’s fans who have already started watching his show, Going Home with Tyler Cameron, will have already met his dad.
Speaking of his old man, Tyler shared his other “theory,” explaining: “He’s set in his ways…
“Gerry and Theresa don’t want to change their ways. He doesn’t want to leave Indiana where his family is and she doesn’t want to leave, I think she’s in New Jersey, I heard. Yeah, New Jersey, where she wants to live. Like it’s just two stubborn old people, you know? And when you get older you get more stubborn.”
Tyler’s new show
Flipping the script on his Bachelorette heartbreak, Tyler is letting the cameras in on a whole different area of his life this April.
He’s heading into a new career in the construction world following in his father’s footsteps. He explains in the Going Home with Tyler Cameron’s trailer how he moved back to Florida following his mother’s passing.
Taking to Instagram, Tyler shared a snap with his dog and wrote: “Excited for ya’ll to see more of Harley on the show. You know I love my dog, but I don’t love the smell of a wet dog coming from my washing machine….”
Fans are already excited for the show, commenting: “I already LOVE this series and it hasn’t even started streaming yet!”
