A Mamelodi West family is desperately looking for the father who disappeared in October last year.
Benjamin Solomon Kopanye (68) of Section D1 was last seen on October 15, wearing a long navy blue jersey, dark-grey trousers with black and navy leather sneakers.
His son, Lucky reported him missing on October 17.
Lucky said he last saw in the morning of the same day on his way to Kwa-Mhlanga in Mpumalanga.
Unfortunately, no one knows exactly where in Kwa-Mhlanga he was going.
“We have searched almost everywhere for my father – at hospitals mortuaries and police stations,” said Lucky.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Daphney Maila, confirmed police are investigating a missing person’s case.
She said the family searched almost everywhere for their father and are pleading with the public to help locate him.
Maila added Benjamin is bald and light in complexion.
“His right foot has a big wound and he limps.”
There is no waiting period to report a missing person.
