Ikenga Ugochinyere, the member representing Ideato Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has taken a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for allowing FCT minister, Nyesom Wike to attend their National caucus on Wednesday, April 17.
In a post shared on his X handle this afternoon, Ugochinyere who is also the spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties and a member of the PDP, wondered if this is how the party intends to take over the seat of power in 2027.
According to him, the PDP allowed the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike who is campaigning for the APC to be a part of their meeting.
He wrote;
‘’Is this really happening to us?
PDP governors and National Caucus members sat helplessly without anyone standing up to stop a serving apc govt official from entering their closed door caucus meeting in abuja few hours ago. How weak can a party that claims that it wants to capture power in 2027 be by allowing a man campaigning for apc to stampede their meeting ?
