Yobe senatorial bye election: Group endorse Mustapha

A group, Best 77 in the Seven Local Government areas of Yobe East Senatorial District has called on honourable Musa Mustapha (Kulas) to vie for the Yobe East Senatorial District in the fourth coming bye-election in Yobe state.

The Zonal Coordinator of the movement, Mohammed Chiroma, (Buharin Yobe) made the endorsement while briefing journalist at the NUJ secretariat in Damaturu.

He revealed that it is no longer news that the nomination of Senator Ibrahim Gaidam as minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has created a vacuum that need to be filled with a experience politician.
Chiroma stated that the Yobe East youths are the representatives of over 100 support groups in the zone who have their various structures across wards and polling units in the seven Iocal governments areas of Yobe East.

He noted that the movement whose members believe in the candidature of Mustapha (kulas) which has mobilised its seven local government coordinators and ward coordinators in an efforts to salvage the All Progressives Congress (APC) from losing to the opposition in the region.

“Our gathering here today is to ensure that we get it right and pick the ticket from APC and contest for the senatorial seat of Yobe East, to our understanding, his aspiration was anchored on competence and credibility and that has given us the go ahead to canvass support.

“It is therefore, in the light of this development that we want to unequivocally endorse Honourable Musa Mustapha’s candidature to lead the good people of Gubia, Gulani, Damaturu, Bursari, Geidam, Tarmuwa and Yunusari federal constituency in the senate.

The zonal coordinator called on all the youths of the seven LGAs of Yobe East to mobilise and come out en masse to support the aspiration of the project.
“Our heritage is our pride and with Hon.Musa Mustapha we are secured”,he added.
