The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Comrade Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, has called on youths to engage themselves in skills for self actualization and reliance.
While speaking with Blueprint on Saturday, Chukwu said skill acquisition will enable the positive contribution of youths to the development of Nigeria.
He said: “The fight for the independence of Nigeria further proves that young people of Nigeria are not just resilient, but great goal-getters. Nigerian youths are hardworking, resourceful, ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic and promising. An average Nigerian youth is a survivor.
“We are calling on the youths of Nigeria to key into this year’s International Youths Day theme, titled “Green Skills For Youth: Towards A Sustainable World”, and engage themselves with skills for self actualization and reliance to as this will enable them a positive contribution in the development of Nigeria.
“We at the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), recognise the role of the youths in nation building and knowing that the Youths constitute Nigeria’s only hope for a greater future, handed over the leadership of our great party to the youths.
“We trust in the capacity of Nigerian youths and have decided to make APGA a national youth party that will see the youths take over leadership from national to ward levels. We therefore call on the competent and capacity youths of Nigeria to shoot their shots at leadership using APGA as a platform.
