Giddyap! Tom Brady is joining the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bloomberg and Bill Gates as a “horse dad” — as he supports his daughter Vivian’s love of equestrian.
The eligible football champ — who recently announced his retirement, again — was seen at the Winter Equestrian Festival at Wellington International in Florida over the weekend.
The event was about 90-minutes from Brady’s Miami home.
An equestrian insider tells us of the former NFL great, “He came to check out the sport.”
A source tells us Brady has also been taking tours of other stables, including one in Davie, Fla.
In one haughty horse rider’s opinion, “his daughter has been riding at a real dump of a barn… He is ready to up his game,” the insider huffed.
Having Brady potentially around the top stables is setting some human hearts racing, too.
“It’s the buzz of equestrian moms that they are going to get to watch Brady ringside,” says the source, joking of another famous “horse dad,” “Bill Gates isn’t really cutting it.”
Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s daughter, Vivian, 10, is an avid rider. The six-time Super Bowl winner has been spotted several times as a proud horse dad, taking pictures of her during her riding lessons.
At Wellington International, Brady was spotted chatting with course designer Guilherme Jorge, as well as Olympian McLain Ward and US Show Jumping’s Robert Ridland, said a source, who added, “it looked like he was walking the course to see where jumps are placed.”
Bündchen also rides horses.
We’re told rocker Springsteen was also at the winter event in Wellington to watch his daughter, Jessica.
Brady first retired in February 2022, but returned to the field just weeks later. This February, he announced he was leaving football “for good.”
While he has several businesses and endorsements, the retired pro seems to also be using his free time to be close to his family.
Along with Vivian, he shares son Benjamin, 13, with Bündchen. He also co-parents son Jack, 15, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Brady and Bündchen finalized their divorce in October.
“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time spent together,” Brady had said in a statement about the breakup. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”
