2023 STONY BROOK FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
Stony Brook announced its full 2023 schedule on January 10. The schedule features five home games at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium and a non-conference matchup with FBS opponent Arkansas State.
“I am excited about opening day – we get a chance to open the season at home on the Thursday of Labor Day weekend against Delaware. Every CAA schedule is a challenge, but we have our common northern opponents on our schedule which is nice because we continue to build those rivalries. It is also good to have Villanova back on the schedule this year and I am looking forward to another season of Stony Brook football,” said coach Priore as he discussed the Seawolves’ 2023 schedule.
For the third year in a row Stony Brook opens the season at LaValle Stadium the Thursday of Labor Day weekend. The Seawolves are set to host Delaware on August 31, as they kick-off the season under the lights on Long Island. Stony Brook and Delaware will meet for the first time since October 16, 2021, when the Seawolves picked up a 34-17 win over the Blue Hens at LaValle Stadium.
