It was a family affair for Tom Brady at a bash that his billionaire buddy, Jeff Soffer, hosted in the Bahamas over the weekend.
An insider told us Brady spent the weekend with his family — and they all popped by an intimate party thrown by Soffer.
“It was like one of Soffer’s normal get-togethers that they do all the time,” a source told Page Six.
The gathering had spies buzzing that it was a retirement party for Brady — who recently hung up his cleats for good — but our source claims it “wasn’t a retirement party. It was kids and some of the guys playing football on the beach… nothing out of the ordin ary.”
Soffer and Brady are longtime friends, and Brady’s supermodel ex-wife, Giselle Bündchen, vehemently shot down a recent report linking her with Soffer earlier this month.
“I have zero relationship with him in any way,” she told Vanity Fair. “He’s Tom’s friend, not my friend.”
Bündchen further explained: “I wouldn’t be with this guy. I mean, puh-leeze. They were saying I’m with this guy, he’s old, because he’s got money – it’s ridiculous.”
Another source told us that Soffer’s actually “in a serious relationship for seven years and is currently engaged” to Colleen Schiff.
As for Brady? We’re hearing the newly single retiree has jumped into the dating pool.
“[He’s] dating around. He’s shopping. He is out and about,” a source previously told us.
Our first source admitted, “Everyone wants to set him up, but he’s just focused on the kids right now.”
A rep for the eligible bachelor did not comment.
