Tekashi 6ix9ine was physically assaulted in the sauna of a gym in South Florida
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office reported earlier this week that Tekashi 6ix9ine was rushed to a local hospital. A group of people reportedly attacked him in the sauna of a South Florida gym.
Lance Lazzaro, the rapper’s attorney, talked to NBC News about the incident.
He said, ‘He was attacked in a Sauna at a gym by three or four thugs who beat him up (he tried fighting back),’
Additionally, he continued, ‘Employees heard the disturbance and the perpetrators fled.’
Lazzaro mentioned, ‘Police in South Florida were called and he was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.’
Meanwhile, Tekashi 6ix9ine was labeled a ‘snitch’ after he testified for the prosecutors in 2018 against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and Cardi B.
The rapper accepted the deal to lessen his sentence after he was charged with a number of charges. However, he eventually ended up spending two years behind prison bars. He served time in federal prison until April 2020.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was facing a 47-year minimum sentence and a maximum of life in prison when he was taken into custody in 2018.
He was convicted of nine charges including racketeering, firearm possession, armed robbery, and attempted murder owing to his connection with the Nine Trey Bloods gang.
