The online drama began after Regina Daniels called out Angela Okorie for disrespecting veteran actress Mercy Johnson, whom Regina refers to as her “Mama.” Angela didn’t hold back, responding fiercely—and the back-and-forth has continued ever since.
Weighing in, Uche Elendu appeared to support Regina Daniels, implying that younger stars like her may have more wisdom than they’re given credit for. “The little ones are not as little upstairs after all,” she wrote in a cryptic post on social media.
Uche also seemed to address Angela’s recent shade directed at Destiny Etiko during actress Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding. At the event, Destiny was seen walking away with the money she had been spraying after Angela approached to perform her song. Angela later remarked that when “light” enters, “darkness disappears”—a comment many believe was aimed at Destiny.
Responding to the situation, Uche Elendu took another jab, writing:
“Their darkness seems to be the real light, evidence seen,” Uche Elendu wrote. “Their light is perpetual darkness, envy, bitterness, strife, addiction, abuse. Abeg, if na so light dey be, NEPA kuku carry am. No need.”
She ended with a bold statement calling for professional help:
“Kindly tag the best psychiatrist in town. It’s about time.”
