- The ongoing feud between the controversial singer Portable and Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has taken a new twist — this time, it is centered around music.
- In true Portable fashion, the singer did not allow the situation to pass without a response. He has now released a diss track that specifically targets Laide Bakare, utilizing her own words, especially the slap reference, as part of the chorus and lyrical critiques in the song.

The dispute between the controversial singer Portable and Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has taken another turn — and this time, it is musical in nature.
Earlier this week, Portable called out Laide Bakare in a viral video, claiming that she had invited him to perform at her event but lacked the funds to pay him.
He stated that he declined the invitation, which led to her becoming upset and allegedly referring to him as “a dirty boy from Sango.”
In the video, she threatened to physically confront him, using the Yoruba phrase “dabara bo e” (which implies a hard slap), and asserted that she would not tolerate any form of disrespect.
In typical Portable style, the singer did not let the matter go unaddressed. He has now released a diss track that directly targets Laide Bakare, incorporating her own words, particularly the slap reference, into the chorus and lyrical critiques of the song.
