MomTok’s Taylor Frankie Paul is looking for love and what better way to find her perfect suitor than applying to be the next Bachelorette? The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star recently shared a hilarious audition video for the reality TV show, and to no surprise, she received a lot of love from both fans and even Bachelor Nation.
Taylor took to Instagram to share her “audition tape” and it couldn’t have been more on-brand for the MomTok star. In the clip, which she titled, “Sending this in for my chance as the next Bachelorette,” she lip-syncs to audio from actress Lindsay Lohan while casually doing everyday household chores in a fitted dress.
The choice of audio felt especially fitting. After all, Taylor and Lindsay have more in common than you’d think, including making a few headline-making run-ins with the law.
Taylor, who captioned her video, “I’m taking matters into my own hands, here is my audition,” begins by lip-syncing: “Hi, my name is Lindsay, and I’m searching for love. I’m recently single, I think. And I’m looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with, or at least, the rest of my probation with.”
She continued, “A little bit about me, I’m an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur, and I’ve single handedly kept 90% of all gossip websites in business.”

Bachelor Nation Thinks Taylor Has A Shot At The Bachelorette
Taylor’s comment section was filled with Bachelor Nation alums sharing their thoughts on Taylor’s perfect Bachelorette audition tape. Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star Haley Palve wrote, “I’d absolutely love this 😍👏,” and also tagged The Bachelorette’s Instagram page. BiP star Raven Gates shared, “Absolutely.” Even former Bachelor lead Nick Viall’s wife, Natalie Joy Viall, got into the comment section, writing, “immediately @bachelornation.”
Hakeem Moulton, who appeared on Jenn Tran’s Season 21 of The Bachelorette, and is set to appear on BiP Season 10, also chimed in:
“Nahhh fr we need to make this happen and all the contestants would make sure to come correct too on god because we don’t want no smoke with Taylor 🙅🏾♂️ 🙈@bachelornation”
Of course, Taylor’s MomTok crew also shared their approvals. Mikayla Matthews was totally on board to see her fellow co-star on the dating reality show, writing, “I’d watch so quick 👀.” Jesse Ngatikaura also shared, “This sound is gold for you.”
Taylor’s fans also believed she could breathe new life into The Bachelorette, especially amid rumors that the show’s ratings had dipped and it would not return next year. “You would restore bachelor nation,” a fan wrote.
Another fan believed that Dakota making a surprise appearance could really shake things up! “Yesss and then the messy episode mid season where Dakota comes and says he wants you. I’m ready for it lol.”
What’s Going On Between Taylor And Dakota Mortensen Today?
Fans have followed Taylor and Dakota Mortensen’s tumultuous, on-again, off-again, relationship throughout both Seasons 1 and 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Their romance has been anything but smooth, marked by major obstacles, including Taylor’s arrest for aggravated assault in 2023 to revelations about Dakota’s infidelities, which we saw in Season 2.
Regardless of whether they reconcile or not, the former couple now share a son named Ever True, who was born in March 2024.
Back in May, Taylor shared with E! News that the two were not together and working on themselves, following Dakota’s unfaithfulness. “There was some betrayal,” she began. “We’re just trying to both heal individually and get to a better spot, because I think together, obviously we couldn’t get there. Right now, we’re doing the best we can for our baby and, what happens in the future, I’m not sure. Right now, I’m focusing on only me.”

She told the outlet that the two were also working on co-parenting in a healthy way. “Co-parenting is great, but it’s also the worst,” Taylor shared. “It’s the worst pain a parent can experience, it’s very torturous. For me, experiencing that already with my other two, this one has been excruciating and been really hard. To make that decision for myself, because I knew the pain that was coming with it, made it a lot harder to let go of us being together.”
Taylor is also a mom of two kids named Indy and Ocean with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
In June, Dakota shared his take on their rocky relationship while speaking to Nick Viall on his The Viall Files podcast. Dakota shared that he believed he had made the mistake of moving too quickly, knowing that Taylor was still speaking to the man she had an affair with that ended her marriage. “I was so afraid of how much I liked Taylor and how afraid I was of her and knowing that I didn’t know really what she wanted, or if this could even be a thing,” he shared.
However, he admitted to making mistakes in their relationship, telling the host that he allegedly made four mistakes, but two of them occurred when he was with Taylor. When asked, “What would it take for you and Taylor to be in a healthy relationship?” Dakota shared, “Me to be honest.”
Taylor and Dakota’s relationship will also be front and center in the SLOMW Season 2 reunion. In a snippet of what fans can expect, Taylor is heard sharing, “I hurt someone I truly cared about,” while Dakota is seen in tears. The reunion special, which is hosted by Nick Viall, will air on July 1st.
Given this reality TV couple’s history of reuniting time and time again, Taylor might just have to rescind that Bachelorette audition tape.
