Lagos LG polls: Jandor launches independent campaign group backing APC candidates

The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has launched an Independent Campaign Group (ICG) in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Lagos State.

The ICG, composed of dedicated grassroots mobilizers, loyal party members, youth volunteers, and community leaders, aims to galvanise massive support for APC candidates across the 377 wards, 57 Local Government Areas, and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos.

At the official inauguration of the ICG on Monday, Jandor reiterated his commitment to the success of the APC, emphasising that the initiative is about ensuring quality representation at the grassroots, consolidating good governance, and empowering people to choose credible leaders.

He said: “This campaign group is not just about politics, it is about ensuring quality representation at the grassroots, consolidating the gains of good governance, and empowering the people to choose credible leaders under our great party, the APC. I have taken it upon myself to fund and mobilise this initiative because I believe in the future of our state and the strength of our people.”

The event was attended by prominent stakeholders, including the Lagos State Chairman of the APC, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the PDP, Alh. Safuratu Abdul-Kareem, and other community influencers and youth groups.

The Jandor ICG, led by 24 state apex leaders, 57 Local Government Coordinators, and 377 Ward leaders, will engage in ward-to-ward engagement, voter education, door-to-door mobilisation, and media outreach to amplify the party’s message of continuity, development, and responsive leadership.
