Trey Songz is back in hot water after a clip circulated online showing the R&B singer threatening extreme violence against another man.
In the clip, Songz is seen trying to shake hands with the man, but the man declines. “I ain’t gonna shake your hand,” he is heard saying.
“And you ain’t gone do sh*t either like I told you,” Songz claps back before the unidentified man calls him a “p*ssy,” while walking away.
Songz is then heard telling him, “I’ll beat the sh*t out of you right now.”
Fortunately, the confrontation did not escalate into a physical altercation.
Songz has faced multiple legal issues over the years, primarily involving sexual assault allegations. In 2023, he settled a $25 million lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him of raping her at a 2016 Los Angeles party.
In 2021, a Las Vegas police officer sued Songz for allegedly assaulting his wife, leading to an $11.2 million default judgment, though the case was later dismissed.
Additionally, actress Keke Palmer accused Songz of sexual intimidation during a 2017 music video shoot.
