Award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid is making waves online following news about his upcoming performance at Morocco’s largest music event, the Mawazine Festival, scheduled for June 26, 2025.
This comes shortly after Wizkid canceled several legs of his Morayo Live Tour across North America and Europe, disappointing many fans.
Reports now reveal that Wizkid was allegedly paid $2.1 million (N3.3 billion) to perform at the Mawazine Festival, which is held annually in Rabat and attracts over 2.7 million attendees. The festival is one of the biggest music events in Morocco and draws a global audience.
