A video has surfaced online showing Abuja youths celebrating the release of social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) from EFCC custody.

The clip, which is gaining traction across platforms, captures a jubilant crowd dancing and chanting in support of VDM.

His recent detention had sparked conversations nationwide, and his release has clearly brought relief and excitement to many of his followers.

In other news…. Social media activist Martins Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has spoken out after being released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a viral video, VDM was seen in a car with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, discussing the situation with his fans.

He expressed confusion over the money laundering allegations, stating that he does not have the wealth typically associated with such claims.

“How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money?” he questioned in the video. “I have done so many charity [projects], they wonder how. They don’t know I use debt for charity.”

Despite everything, VDM seemed upbeat and reassured his followers of his release.

“Anyway, we are outside, with my lawyer of course,” he added.
