President Bola Tinubu may have written off the Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) this afternoon in his remarks to conclude his working visit to Awka, the Anambra State capital.
The President expressed deep appreciation and commendation to Governor Charles Soludo for laying a very solid foundation for a focused, steady growth of Anambra State.
Tinubu, in his remarks at the popular Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square shortly after commissioning many projects executed by Gov. Soludo’s administration, described the Governor as his friend and ally who was among his advisers right from the starting block of his administration.
He saw him as a performer who saw the nation through bank consolidation successfully.
“And the nation was better for it. He’s a progressive and we are working together from the centre. So we are comfortable with him. With him, Anambra is on the rise,” he said.
