Last year, during the heat of Ghanaian actress Nana Addo’s AMVCA outfit controversy, Lilian Afegbai expressed that Nigerian designers should not feel entitled to getting tags from celebrities, especially if they were paid for their duty. The movie star urged any designer to beat her if she doesn’t tag them in her post.
Sometime back, Afegbai cried out over the cost of things in most salons on the island. Narrating her ordeal in a salon, she begged salons to try to reduce their prices as she queried them over their expensive charges.
In different news, Lilian had advised girls on the importance of positive affirmations. Using herself as an example, she disclosed that the minute she started saying positive things about men and her love life, things changed. Hence, why she admonished ladies to speak into existence what they want and it will come to them.
In another post, she apologised to women in their 30s when she was still a growing teenager. She expressed that as a young girl, she did not know the gravity of what it meant to be 30 and not have achieved certain things.
