Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has addressed the criticism she received for publicly expressing her affection for social media activist Verydarkman.
Following Verydarkman’s release, Sarah took to Instagram to celebrate his return, stating that it improved her evening.
She affectionately referred to him as her ‘sweet husband’ and declared her love for him.
This declaration, however, drew ridicule from social media users who mocked her.
In her defense, Sarah responded on Instagram, highlighting that she and Verydarkman share the same surname.
She further expressed that, in her heart, they are already united in marriage and urged critics to respect their relationship.
“I see all the hate comments on Instablog concerning my undying love for my Prince Charming VDM.
In case you haven’t noticed, I have his last name “Martins”, Sarah Martins… Vincent Martins. We are officially married in my heart. If you can’t wish us well, pls leave us alone.
It’s 2am and I’m still awake thinking of my baby.
Y’all, he’s mine, period,” her words read.
