Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, also known as Igwe 2Pac, has jokingly pointed fingers at his hypeman as the reason behind his energetic and often viral antics on social media.
The actor recently shared a video where he appears in traditional royal regalia while being enthusiastically praised by his hypeman. Sharing the clip on Instagram, Okocha captioned it:
“Lion and his Cub @jaytee_yna. My hypeman is my problem.”
His hypeman, Justin Asiabaka — better known as Jaytee — has long been a staple in Okocha’s videos, hyping him up with dramatic flair and a string of animated nicknames that fans have come to love.
In a previous chat with The PUNCH in 2023, Jaytee revealed that hyping is more than just a role — it’s his full-time profession.
“My journey as a hype man began in school,” he explained. “Back then, I was the social director of my department and frequently hyped events. I eventually crossed paths with Charles Okocha during a video shoot at Larry Gaga’s house in Lekki around 2017.”
