Michelle Gentry the daughter of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is an epitome of beauty and fashion like her mum as she takes the AMVCA.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that the 11th edition of the prestigious award held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos with many celebrities in attendance.
Michelle, via her Instagram page, had shared photos of her outfit to the event as she revealed that it was her first time at the award ceremony.
“My 1st AMVCA wearing my favorite color”.
Many took to her comment section to gush over the outfit. The likes of Portable’s babymama Ashabi, Kiekie, Priscilla Ojo, Emmanuel Good News left beautiful comment on her page.
Michelle was no doubt supporting her mother, whose movie, Thinline was nominated.
Mercy Aigbe made her first delve into Cinema production with Ada Omo Daddy which grossed one N187 million and was the 3rd highest grossing movie in 2023. This was a huge milestone, especially with competition from Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Speaking on it, Michelle had expressed how happy she was to see all the love and positive reviews for Ada Omo Daddy movie. She expressed how incredibly proud she was of her mum, as she noted how Mercy poured her heart into it with resilience despite the challenges.
Following the success of her first Cinema movie, the movie producer had worked on her second Cinema movie, Thin Line which was also a success at the Cinema as it grossed over N100 million at the box office.
In March, Aigbe shared one of her greatest joys as a filmmaker. The movie star revealed that her greatest joy as a filmmaker was knowing that her movie resonates with so many people and evokes emotions. She expressed how incredible it was to see how her 2023 film touched hearts and continues to inspire many more.
