Kory Keefer Spotted Filming With The Southern Charm Cast: Here’s How He’s Connected

Multiple reports suggest that cameras are rolling for the newest season of Southern Charm. One of the first events that cameras captured for Season 11 was Madison LeCroy’s baby shower, which was held at Patricia Altschul’s historic Charleston estate.

On Instagram, Patricia shared photos of Madison’s very pink baby shower, including sharing snaps of the delicious sweets, decor, and a few of the Southern Charm cast mates that were in attendance. However, one photo suggested that there might be a new cast member among the Charleston crew. Standing next to Carig Conover was Winter House reality TV star Kory Keefer.

What Is Kory Keefer’s Connection To The Southern Charm Cast After Being Photographed At Madison LeCroy’s Baby Shower?

Is Kory Keefer Joining The Southern Charm Season 11 Cast?

In early May, reality TV outlets reported that cameras had picked back up to start filming Season 11 of Southern Charm. In several photos, returning cast members, like Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, and Salley Carson, were seen dressed in their best blush tones to celebrate Madison LeCroy’s baby shower, which was held at Patricia Altschul’s home. In February, Madison announced on an Amazon Live stream that she was expecting a baby girl with her husband, Brett Randle.

Patricia shared a series of photos from Madison’s special day on Instagram, but one unexpected shot left fans buzzing. Patricia shared a photo of Craig Conover standing in between Ryan Albert (who joined as a main cast member for Season 10) and Winter House star Kory Keefer. Fans were shocked to see Kory at Madison’s shower and wondered about his connection to the cast. In fact, some suggested that Kory may be a new addition to Season 11.

“Is Kory from Winter House joining Southern Charm next season? Because why else would he be at Madison’s baby shower?! …He’s Craig’s longtime friend but still seems random he’s there,” a fan wrote in the comments.

Fans of Bravo reality TV shows know that Kory first made his debut in Winter House Season 2. The show is a spinoff to Summer House in which several Bravolebrities all live and party under one roof in a wintery location. The show has featured stars from Bravo shows like Summer House, Vanderpump Rules, and Below Deck.

Season 2 was filmed in 2022, with Kory being introduced to his new housemates by friend and Southern Charm star Craig Conover. According to Bravo, the men formed a friendship after attending the College of Charleston, in South Carolina. During a joint appearance on WWHL, Craig shared, “He was my little brother in the fraternity (Kappa Sigma), and then we lived together for like four years after that.” In the second season of Winter House, Kory shares that he lived with Craig for some time.

Kory was also a “friend” of the cast during Season 7 of Summer House. He began a relationship with his housemate, Sam Feher, which saw the two continue a romance outside the show. Kory was still dating Sam when he appeared on Winter House Season 3. However, his time in the house wasn’t without drama—he stirred up trouble with fellow housemate and Below Deck star Malia White.

Trouble Followed Kory On Winter House Season 3

Kory Didn’t Exactly Make His Relationship Status With Sam Feher Clear

When Kory returned for Season 3 of Winter House, he was still in a relationship with Sam, but he didn’t quite make it known to the women of the house who expressed interest in him. Both Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard star Jordan Emmanuel and Below Deck Mediterranean’s Malia White shared that they liked Kory, with Jordan even trying to see if she could get some alone time with him in one episode.

When Jordan let Malia know that she was interested in pursuing Kory, Malia backed off and even encouraged her to go after him. However, during a night of partying in the house, Malia appeared to kiss Kory, but she explained that she had just spit her drink into his mouth. Jordan was upset with Malia, but shared in a confessional that she was totally over Kory. “The Kory crush has expired,” she said. Meanwhile, Kory, who was very much dating Sam, was waiting for her arrival at the house later in the season.

In Episode 8, Sam found it confusing to see Malia and Kory’s relationship, especially watching them fight in the snow. However, Malia shared that she and Kory had a brother and sister bond, but many in the house found that hard to believe.

“Malia and Kory have have chemistry. I don’t give a f*** what they say … to be displaying said chemistry in front of Sam, it’s a little bit reckless,” Jordan shared.

Speaking to Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller, Sam called Malia “desperate.” Later in the season, Sam confronted Malia about her inappropriate relationship with Kory. Malia tried to clarify that she wasn’t interested in him, but defended her behavior after Kory didn’t put a label on his romance with Sam. When the season concluded, Kory and Sam continued a relationship, but People reported in January 2024 that they had officially split.

As of this writing, Kory is single which would make things interesting if he joins the Season 11 cast of Southern Charm.

Southern Charm Sees Multiple Cast Members Not Returning For Season 11

Leva Bonaparte And Taylor Ann Green Announced Their Departures

It would make sense that Southern Charm Season 11 might introduce new cast mates after two stars announced that they were leaving the series after Season 10 wrapped. The first person to announce that they were leaving the hit Bravo show was Leva Bonaparte.

Leva, who had been on the show since the first season, shared in an Instagram post in March, that she was stepping away to focus on her family and businesses. However, she hinted that she might still make a guest appearance or two during special events. Photos confirmed her attendance at Madison’s baby shower. Leva also shared that she’ll continue to lead the Southern Charm spinoff Southern Hospitality, which has officially been renewed for Season 4.

“I am in a place now in my life where I want to have time to focus on Boys and my Joys. And need some time for a life reset on what is aligned for me! I don’t have a very salacious personal life to share but I do have a lot going on and frankly I’m working on some pretty cool stuff that I hope to share more of soon! I love my friends on charm wish them the best and I’ll show up when they need me -maybe you’ll see me at party or two through out their new season!”

In April, Taylor Ann Green, who first starred in Southern Charm as Shep Rose’s girlfriend in Season 7, also announced her departure. Taking to Instagram, Taylor shared that she wanted to focus on her lifestyle brand, Reset Athletic.

“Hi everyone! A bittersweet announcement; but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year…

A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least. I am so excited to use this time to focus on my new company, @resetathletic and all the exciting things that my business partner and I have been working on to continue to bring our dream into reality🙌🏼”

According to Bravo fan site, Bravo and Cocktails, both Jarrett “JT” Thomas and Ryan Albert were not asked to return to Season 11. This may come as a shock to fans after JT’s very controversial and drama-filled Season 10. Meanwhile, Ryan had only just made his debut last season. With four cast members now exiting the show, viewers could see Kory make his reality TV return—and possibly a few new faces—when the next season premieres.
