Jay-Z Now Claims He Lost $190 Million in Income Due to Tony Buzbee’s Client

Jay-Z has filed an amendment to his defamation lawsuit against Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee and Jane Doe, who falsely accused him of sexual assault.

The Roc Nation boss says he has lost $190 million since the lawsuit was filed. According to the court documents, he missed out on contracts in the sports and entertainment industries that would have generated revenues of at least $20 million.

The amended lawsuit also claims that he was denied a $55 million personal credit line, and his 50 percent-owned consumer company, Roc Nation, was denied a $115 million loan.

Jay-Z claims Buzbee pressure Jane Doe, into falsely accusing him of raping her at a 2000 MTV VMAs afterparty when she was 13—a claim she later dropped.

Jay-Z asserts that Doe admitted the allegations were falsified and that Buzbee orchestrated the lawsuit to force a settlement. Further, Jay-Z alleges Buzbee’s firm edited Wikipedia pages to damage his and Roc Nation’s reputations.
