IVD Accuses Mystery Person of Threats and Kidnapping His Kids

Popular Nigerian businessman IVD has stirred public concern after sharing a distressing post on social media, accusing an unidentified person of attempting to ruin his life and keep him away from his children.

In the viral Instagram post, IVD claimed that the individual in question has been paying bloggers to smear his reputation and has even issued threats to his life, allegedly promising to poison or assassinate him.

“You said you’ve got all police contacts and nothing will happen if you kill me,” he wrote, suggesting that the person boasts about having strong ties within law enforcement, capable of covering up crimes and securing releases for offenders.

Most heartbreaking, however, was IVD’s revelation that he hasn’t seen his five children in three years, alleging that they were taken from him by this same individual. He claimed his eldest daughter, Ebube, was told that their family would never be united again.

This emotional outpouring comes in the aftermath of a major tragedy in 2022, when IVD’s wife, Bimbo, died from severe burns reportedly sustained during a violent dispute at their Lekki home. Following the incident, IVD was charged with involuntary manslaughter by the Lagos State Government.

Since then, he claims his life has spiraled further downward — including losing access to his children and being robbed of personal belongings while in detention. Though the police recovered some items, he says many valuables, including his late wife’s possessions, remain missing.

“Everything you stole belongs to my kids. The day I speak, the world will know that men are going through hell too,” IVD added.

He concluded the post with a warning: “If anything happens to me, know that my life is in your hands. You said you’ve paid everybody to end my life. You’re not God.”
