Days after Priscilla’s white wedding in Nigeria, Iyabo sent a message to her Tanzanian in-laws, telling them to get ready. Nigerians were coming to make an impact, and they didn’t play around.

Following the wedding, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invited Ojo to question her about the spraying of money at her daughter’s wedding. She claimed the commission showed her videos extracted from her daughter’s wedding, where guests were spraying naira and foreign currencies, and she was asked if she knew it was illegal. Ojo said she explained that she thought only abuse or mutilation of the Naira was an offence, and the commission enlightened her.
