Veteran Nollywood actor Tito Harrison has opened up about his personal and financial struggles following a serious health battle. In an emotional appearance on Biola Bayo’s Talk To B show, Harrison revealed how he was brought to the brink by a liver condition and ulcer.
He described the extent of his losses: “I lost everything. I sold my house, sold my car. I was using the money to treat myself. Later, I couldn’t afford rent again. We moved into my wife’s mother’s house.”
Tears welled up in his eyes as he spoke about the unwavering support he received from his wife throughout the ordeal. “My wife was my greatest support,” he said. “When I was sick, down, and everyone had deserted me, she stood by me. If I had the opportunity to come back to this world, I would still marry her.”
Harrison also addressed how people in the industry treated him during his difficult times. “There was a time they interviewed someone and he said, ‘Tito Harrison is finished. He’s now living in his wife’s mother’s house.’ I have the publication. Even if it’s true, must you say it? Why not look for a way to support me instead?”
