- She described the experience as abrupt and shocking, likening it to a movie scenario.
- The marriage gained attention in June 2024, particularly due to viral wedding videos.

Popular Kannywood actress Mansura Isa has confirmed the end of her second marriage, describing the experience as abrupt, shocking, and something that felt like it was taken straight out of a movie.
“I married for love. You know what they say, love is blind. But it turns out he had a different agenda, not real love,” she said.
The marriage first drew attention in June 2024 after videos of the wedding went viral, especially due to reports that the bride price was set at ₦1 million.
This relationship followed her separation from Nollywood actor Sani Danja, with whom she has four children: Iman, Khalifa, Sultan, and Sudais.
Mansura explained that she met her second husband while working on a business contract in Lagos. He was introduced to her by an uncle and later started assisting with the deal.
“He suddenly proposed marriage, and I accepted, thinking he was genuine. He even said I could continue my film career. We got married at night, and the next morning, he left for Lagos,” she recounted.
However, things quickly went downhill. During the wedding, she said he presented a contract for her to sign—giving him authority to manage a ₦4 billion business deal on her behalf. After signing, he allegedly cut her out of the negotiations and ended all communication.
“I never saw him again after that. He stopped answering my calls and eventually divorced me,” she said. Mansura later learned through contacts in Lagos that the man claimed he had “forgot” he was married.
During the interview, fellow actress Fati Mohammad also spoke out in defense of Kannywood actresses. She challenged stereotypes suggesting they often experience failed marriages, explaining that some men marry them based on desire, not genuine love.
“People assume women refuse to stay in marriage because they’re used to luxury, but it’s not that simple,” she stated.
Despite the emotional ordeal, Mansura Isa said she has accepted the situation and is focused on moving forward.
