Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has slammed a troll who criticised her and others for making Jumoke George’s issues public..
Kemi Filani reported that the veteran, in an interview with Biola Bayo, revealed that she has been homeless for 5 to 6 years and has been living in her church.
The movie star further opened up on her deteriorating health as she revealed that she has been in and out of the hospital since January 2nd, and now she is in debt. To make it worse, she has to undergo a brain and heart test and doesn’t have the money.
A critic lashed out at Biodun, which reposted the video of a crying Jumoke and questioned why they were bringing her to the public. The critic noted that Biodun is in the US and has a rich husband who can easily offer assurance to Jumoke.
“Y’all Nollywood actors and actresses are stingy. Why do you have to bring this woman to the public because she’s homeless? You dey America, you have a rich husband, you could easily tell your husband ti help her or contact your colleagues to help the woman so you people can cover the shame but hell no, una must come and beg the public for money to help your colleagues, but if to say nah Aso ebi 500k, una wan buy, una dey always see money for that”.
Replying to the critic, Biodun slammed the troll as she stated that this is the reason the troll would never under empathy because of his bitterness. She explained that going public makes it faster to get urgent help,, as she admonished the troll to focus on his life.
