Good news, Bravo fans! The Real Housewives franchise continues to expand! Bravo shared on May 7 its new (and renewed) list of shows; on the list was Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. Soon enough, viewers will get to see their favorite Housewives swap homes, partners, and children for the sake of comedic reality TV.
The announcement comes after the successful Real Housewives spinoff, Love Hotel, proving Bravo fans want one thing: more Housewives. Now, fans get to see multiple Housewives change everything in their lives except themselves.
Here’s Everything We Know About Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition
In early May, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition was announced as a new series coming to Bravo. The network explained “all bets were off” when it comes to Housewives leaving the comforts of home to experience how a real-life housewife lives.
Bravo shared, “When a ‘Real Housewife’ takes off her stilettos and steps into a real housewife’s shoes, all bets are off as two of entertainment’s most iconic franchises are mashed up leading to laugh-out-loud moments, personal epiphanies and an opportunity to see if the grass is truly greener.”

Are The Housewives Already Chosen?
According to Parade, the new series was announced but hadn’t started production as of this article’s publication. Tabloids and social media fan accounts are already buzzing with casting options. Housewives with kids and a husband or partner will most likely be on the frontline for the series as opposed to single Housewives because of the nature of the show.

The Real Reason RHOM Was Paused (Then Rebooted) After 8 Years
After being on “pause” for eight long years, Bravo brought The Real Housewives of Miami to Peacock to see how audiences liked the reboot.
Here’s Where You Can Watch Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition
Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition will air on Bravo (and most likely Peacock). The original series, Wife Swap, aired on ABC back in 2004 through 2013. Celebrity Wife Swap is another series that you can watch on Hulu until the Housewives Edition is released.
Here Are Other New Future Shows Coming To Bravo
Along with Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, Bravo also dropped the names of other series joining (and re-joining) the network, including another series in The Real Housewives franchise.
- The Real Housewives of Rhode Island
- The Valley: Persian Style (WT)
- Ladies of London
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island was one of the biggest shocks of the day. The series’ official description reads, “Set against the shores of the Ocean State, The Real Housewives franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations. With aspirational lives.”
According to Rhode Island’s Turn to 10, the series will start production this summer. Rhode Island Film and TV Office Executive Director Steven Feinberg explained that Bravo cameras are coming to their neck of the woods this summer.
“There’s going to be drama, but they’re real people in a real reality show.”
Another series coming back to Bravo that’s similar to The Real Housewives is Ladies of London. The series was originally on Bravo back in 2014 until 2017. Caroline Stanbury from The Real Housewives of Dubai was originally on the series before switching shows after moving from London to Dubai.
Bravo’s official description reads, “Ladies of London is back with a new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites. As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalized world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world. Here, connections are currency and the crown isn’t the only thing up for grabs.”
The reality TV show has always been a beloved one for its drama, cultural differences, and casting. It will be interesting to see who’s cast for the reboot and if any familiar faces are coming back.

The Valley Season 2, Episode 4 Recap: A Circle Of Resentment
The Valley Season 2 cast head to Santa Barbara. Meanwhile, Brittany receives “rage texts” from Jax in rehab.
Last but not least, The Valley is getting a spin-off! The working title is The Valley: Persian Style. Bravo confirmed that Shahs of Sunset Bravolebrities Golnesa Gharachedaghi, Reza Farahan, and Mercedes Javid are already set to star in the new series as they aim for a quieter life in Los Angeles’s valley.
“Reza Farahan, Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid share an unbreakable bond — one built on years of friendship, fiery clashes and the kind of history that never fades,” the statement stated. “They also share a deep connection to their Persian culture, something that runs just as strong in the group of friends they now call family. As they take on the next stage of life in the Valley, their world is bigger, their circle is bolder and their challenges are more real than ever. As we’ll see, their next chapter in life isn’t quieter, it’s just more complicated.”
The four new shows coming to Bravo were met with excitement and praise. Similarly, Bravo also revealed which series were coming back to the network.
- Below Deck Mediterranean
- Below Deck Down Under
- Southern Charm
- Southern Hospitality
- Married to Medicine
- The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
- The Real Housewives of Orange County
- The Real Housewives of Potomac
- The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
More interesting is the fact that Bravo left The Real Housewives of New York and New Jersey off its list. The two series have struggled in terms of direction and casting. Bravo could be giving the two long-standing shows time to breathe before figuring out what to do with them.
While there’s no release date yet for Bravo’s new shows, fans will have to wait patiently for the Housewives taking part in Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.
