Damson Idris Slams Black Men for Spewing Hate Against Black Women

British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris is making waves online — not for a film role, but for taking a strong stand in defense of Black women.

In a candid social media post, the Snowfall star called out the increasing hate and criticism aimed at Black women, particularly from older Black men.

“I see so much unprovoked hatred towards Black women today by predominantly grown Black men. Especially towards our young stars that are just trying to do their thing,” he wrote.

Damson continued by addressing what he sees as an unhealthy need by some men to “humble” successful Black women, saying, “The compulsion to humble these women perhaps makes you feel like more of a man. I promise you, you aren’t men to us.”

He ended his post with a clear message: “A new year is approaching. Grow up.”

His comments have drawn praise online, with many applauding him for using his platform to speak up against misogyny and uplift Black women.

In other news, Former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate and 4th runner-up, Marvis Nkpornwi, has stirred conversation online after revealing her unusual love for snake meat.

In a recent Instagram story, Marvis shared a photo of smoked snake meat, proudly expressing her fondness for the delicacy.

“Love snake so much. Tastes like caviar,” she captioned the post.

Her bold declaration quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom were surprised by her unique taste. Known for her candid personality, Marvis once again showed she’s unafraid to embrace what she enjoys, no matter how unconventional.
