Khloe Abiri, BBNaija star and owner of Sayria Spa Lagos, has released an official statement following a viral video in which a woman named Angelica Ratechi accused one of the spa’s staff members of sexual assault.

In a press release dated May 21, 2025, Khloe expressed surprise at the allegations, stating, “We are aware of the recent posts made by a client regarding an alleged incident at our spa on May 21st, 2025. While we are surprised by the turn of events, we are handling the matter with full transparency, professionalism, and respect for all parties involved.”

The statement explains that the client booked a massage treatment, which was rescheduled the same day, and that both she and her sister were provided with privacy to change.

Khloe said, “The client in question was asked and confirmed during the session, which was conducted side by side with her sister, that she was comfortable receiving a massage from a male therapist.” After the treatments, “both clients expressed satisfaction, tipped our team generously, and remained at the spa for an extended period before leaving.”

Khloe further revealed that later that evening, the client returned with police officers, and “the main therapist was taken into custody on allegations of misconduct.” The accused staff member was suspended immediately, and the spa “fully cooperated with the authorities from the outset.”

She also disclosed that “the next day, the client voluntarily withdrew her complaint and submitted a formal letter to that effect.” Despite this, the spa has launched an internal investigation and requested an independent inquiry to ensure full transparency and accountability.

Khloe concluded by emphasizing, “Sayria Spa has zero tolerance for any form of misconduct or assault. We remain fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, client care, and safety, working to uphold a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment for everyone.”

The Managing Director is personally overseeing the ongoing investigation to ensure justice is served.
