- Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola addressed a viral video where an elderly woman appeared to give her a cold stare during Priscilla Ojo’s Tanzanian husband’s wedding ceremony.
- A social media clip captured Wumi enjoying a star-studded event, but an older woman appeared disapproving and ignored her presence, catching viewers’ attention.

Popular Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has responded to a trending video showing an elderly woman seemingly gave her a cold stare during the traditional wedding of Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian partner, Juma Jux.
In the viral clip, Wumi was seen enjoying herself and striking poses at the glamorous event. However, what caught the attention of many viewers was an older woman who appeared to give her a stern, dismissive glare and refused to acknowledge her.
Unaware of the moment at the time, Wumi took to a live Instagram session to express her confusion and disappointment after the video gained traction online.
“Why did you give me a bad eye at the wedding? What exactly is my offence? Aside from my roles in movies, I don’t know you, and I’ve never done anything to you. I am always on my lane, minding my business,” Wumi questioned during the live broadcast.
The actress hinted that the woman may have mistaken her on-screen characters for her real-life persona, a common misunderstanding actors face.
“She saw me and paused. I thought maybe her eyelashes entered her eyes or something, but she was just giving me this condescending look. Whatever you think about me will go back to your children. God knows I don’t know you,” Wumi added.
As of now, the identity of the elderly woman remains unknown, and she has yet to respond to Wumi Toriola’s remarks.
