Award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has slammed President Donald Trump’s administration in the United States.
According to her, it feels like an African leader is ruling the US.
She emphasized that the president’s administration “really does feel” like America is being governed by an “African big man.”
Speaking in a recent interview on the CBC network, Adichie said, “America no longer feels aspirational to me… The present administration in the U.S. just feels to me like a Nigerian government. It really does feel like America is being governed by an ‘African Big Man’.”
