Juliana Pasquarosa Admits She Finally Watched Grant Ellis' The Bachelor Finale And Is 'Most Hurt' By Litia Garr

The Bachelor Season 29 saw Grant Ellis choosing Juliana Pasquarosa over Litia Garr in the finale. However, the conclusion of the show didn’t come without a bit of controversy as several fans had a strong sense that the former pro basketball player would choose Litia in the end.

However, Grant and Juliana are still going strong, months after the season concluded. In fact, the client service associate refused to watch Grant’s finale, until now. While it was certainly tough to hear Grant tell another woman he loved her, Juliana has since shared that she was “most hurt” by Litia’s words of warning to her before she was ultimately sent home.

Juliana Pasquarosa Admitted That She Was “Hurt” By Litia Garr’s Words Following The Bachelor Finale

Juliana Pasquarosa was “most hurt” by The Bachelor runner-up, Litia’s Garr’s words following her exit from the show. Speaking on The Viall Files podcast on April 1st, Juliana revealed that she was taken aback by Litia’s words during the finale and at the After the Final Rose special, in which Litia shared a few shady comments about the new Bachelor couple.

“I think my feelings were the most hurt by Litia,” Juliana said when asked about the most shocking moment of Grant’s finale. “I don’t think that that was expected in any capacity. I think we’ve talked between filming and even when this whole show was airing. I did my best to check in with her. I thought there was a good relationship but it seems like actions since AFR and moving forward have not been the kindest and that took me by surprise and my feelings were hurt by it for sure.”

Host Nick Viall also asked if Juliana felt as though Litia and the other contestants were acting as “mean girls” since the finale, to which she replied, “Definitely.”

“I think the first stab that I felt was when she brought my name up in the breakup. I think that that was uncalled for,” Juliana said in reference to Litia, stating that she should have “a lot of questions” for Grant.

“Then to continue to make kind of those jabs on stage, saying she is glad that this isn’t a part of her love story and that she deserves a man that’s not so confused up until the last second, when Grant and I know the reality of it and that was strictly a jab at me, I think that those things took me back.”

During Grant’s finale, where he decided not to go forward with a proposal to Litia, she was taken aback. When Litia asked Grant when his feelings for her had changed, he insisted that they did not and he still loved her. “The switch-up is crazy,” she told him, before adding, “I just want to be clear that I’m confused and I’m sad. And I’m mad.”

Additionally, Litia claimed that Juliana should have “a lot of questions” for Grant about some things he had promised her in private that she’d since spilled on AFR.

At the After the Final Rose special, Litia got a chance to speak her mind following Grant dumping her in the Dominican Republic. Litia explained that she was shocked by his decision because he had made promises to her that made her feel assured that she would be chosen in the end.

Speaking to host Jesse Palmer, Litia said, “Grant and I had talked a lot about that day, and everything that he had ever said about it was that it was going to be us. We were getting engaged from, you know, the first one on one that we had in L.A. until the night before that day. I remember saying goodbye to him and saying, ‘Oh my Gosh, we are getting engaged tomorrow.'”

“And he said, ‘I know I can’t wait. I love you. I love you. I love you.’”

“Those were the last words that he said to me before I walked up there. So it was a shock.”

Litia also alleged that Grant told her she was his “No. 1 emotional connection,” and even claimed that he would “stop the show” because he already knew she was it for him.

Litia also seemed to throw some shade at Juliana when she told Jesse, “I know that I deserve someone waking up one morning and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that they are going to choose me.”

When Grant joined her on stage, he heard her out and apologized for “hurting” her.

“I do regret is the mistakes that I made and speaking early on situations when I didn’t know how conflicted I’d be,” he said on AFR.

While speaking to Nick in the aforementioned podcast interview, he doubled down on those statements, sharing that he “expressed regret” for “jumping too fast” with his feelings, but did not regret anything he had said to her because it was how he was feeling at the time.

Juliana Revealed That The Contestants Of Grant’s Season Seem To Have Taken Sides

In her interview on The Viall Files, Juliana also believed that the contestants on Grant’s season ultimately chose to side with Litia after the finale, and were not in support of her winning his heart.

Calling the dynamic of her friendships with the contestants following her proposal “interesting,” she shared, “I had expressed to a couple of them that that right there was my biggest fear, because of the end circumstance, that my relationships with them were going to be not as great as I had hoped for. I was reassured in the moment that it would be fine and that the girls were fine compartmentalizing relationships, but I think after AFR and kind of just some things that have come up from that, I have seen the reality of it.”

Following the conclusion of Season 29, Litia shared an Instagram post that saw her hanging out with contestant’s Alexe Godin, Sarafiena Watkins, and Dina Lupancu. Sarafiena also shared an Instagram post with photos of the women during Grant’s season, but Juliana was not in any of them.

In her conversation with Nick, Juliana revealed that the contestants did not reach out to her to congratulate her on her engagement. When they all appeared on AFR, Juliana learned that they were going to support Litia’s journey instead.

“I wasn’t super reached out to by a lot of the girls that I, maybe, thought I would have been reached out to by. I think when the AFR came and I had reached out to a few girls from my season that were gonna come to the actual live filming of it, I was told that they were coming in support of Litia,” she admitted.

However, Juliana did find one friend during her time on The Bachelor — contestant Alli Jo Hinkes, who she believes would make a great Bachelorette.
