Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas has shut down rumours of welcoming a second child with her footballer husband, Olayinka Peters.
Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a screenshot of her Facebook post, which alleged that she had given birth to her second child. Yetunde said that though the news is good, people should stop spreading false rumours about her and do their findings before posting.
Yetunde noted how God’s time is the best as she urged rumour peddlers to channel their energy into watching her new movie.
“As seen on Facebook, I am not aware that I gave birth o, even tho this is good news.
Pls stop spreading false rumours about me, and do your findings before posting.

There is no doubt that being a public figure isn’t a small feat, especially with the number of false news one has to deal with.

She clarified that the viral pictures were photos taken from different movie sets. She further noted how marriage and childbearing would happen in God’s time and she would make noise about it.
Veteran actress Rita Edochie had reacted to trending death news about her colleague, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw. Rita stated that the constant death news about actors was getting out of control as she noted how social media has done more harm than good to society. Calling such behavior madness, Rita stated that one doesn’t need to grow pages through death wishes on innocent people.
A year back, it was alleged on Facebook that Yoruba actress Ronke Odusanya had acquired a multi-million naira mansion. The actress debunked the news by stating that she hadn’t bought any house.
To top it off, billionaire businessman, E-Money had been accused on Facebook of having an affair with late actor, Junior Pope’s wife, and having a hand in his death. Reacting to it, E-money vowed to ensure that those behind the false information are made to face the full wrath of the law, as he urged Nigerians to help him fish out those behind the allegation.
