Veteran Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, has released a powerful new diss track that sheds light on the struggles and hardships faced by the people of Nigeria. The track, titled “Tell Your Papa,” comes shortly after the singer celebrated his wedding anniversary.
In this bold release, Abdulkareem takes aim at President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi. He expresses his frustration with the current state of the nation, claiming that the people are suffering while the president fails to take meaningful action. Abdulkareem criticizes Tinubu for making numerous empty promises, asserting that life in Nigeria has become unbearable and is now worse than ever.
The song directly addresses Seyi Tinubu, urging him to inform his father of the dire situation facing Nigerians. Abdulkareem also made a pointed reference to Seyi’s lifestyle, claiming he is out of touch with the struggles of the common man, as he flies by private jet instead of traveling by road like ordinary citizens. The diss track ends with Abdulkareem daring Seyi to pass this message on to his father.
Here is part of the lyrics below:
“Seyi, people are hungry, Tinubu, people are hungry, Seyi, I swear, your papa no try.
“Take our message to him, try travel by road. You travel on private jet so insecurity is not your problem.
“Tell your papa country hard, this one pass jagajaga. Too much empty promises. Tell you papa people dey die.”
