The person you see when they get Rich is who they really are. Nothing will change a man’s real attitude till money or power touches their hands. Believe who they really are. Good or bad, that’s who they really are.
You can’t force a friendship that is dependent on money or what you can bring to the table. If you don’t have one, you have no place at the table. Remove yourself till it gets embarrassing. Whatever you agree to is what you become and how you will be addressed
Respect is good but wait till you deal with someone that believes it’s the person with most money in the room that should be respected. If you are not as Rich or have power, please stay away from such person. They have no regard for value add if it’s not in form of money & power.
The fact that you all grew up together doesn’t mean things will be the same. Time; relationships, goals, career, etc changes the dynamics most times. Please invest in yourself as much as you build a family & friendship. Dynamics can change & you need to be fine when it does.
Some people forget too quickly. The only way to remind them you exist is if you are doing good. Make sure your friends are kind and you are kind to them.”
