Cher is speaking out after her young boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, was spotted at the Coachella festival with a group of females and no Cher to be seen.
After seeing AE partying with the beauties, fans of Cher became concerned that they had split…but sources close to the couple say they “are very much still together.”
Speaking to TMZ, a rep for the 78-year-old singer said she and AE are “still together romantically and are very happy.”
The women who were seen out with AE are just friends.
Cher and AE have been dating since 2022. There is a 40-year age gap between them.
“I would rather date men from later generations, who were raised by women like me and were therefore never scared of me,” she said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “And the reason I got with young men is because men my age or older – well, now they’re all dead. But before they just never, they were always terrified to approach me.”
