50 Cent is giving his opinion on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ chances of being acquitted in his federal trial, and he believes it all rests on the disgraced music mogul’s legal team.
Diddy is scheduled to stand trial on May 5, 2025, in Manhattan federal court, facing five federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
The superseding indictment alleges that over two decades, the Bad Boy boss used his influence to coerce women into commercial sex acts through force, fraud, and blackmail.
“If Diddy can get Joe he might beat this case but he gonna have to pay a lot of money, there’s no time to prepare!” Diddy wrote. A$AP Rocky hired attorney Joe Tacopina to represent him after a former crew member accused him of shooting him in the hand during a dispute.
A$AP was facing 20 years but left the court a free man.
Prosecutors are also alleging that Diddy orchestrated “freak offs,” involving drugging victims and arranging recorded sexual acts with male sex workers and that he even transported some of them across state lines.
Diddy denies the allegations.
It was also revealed last month that Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, will be testifying in court and will not be doing so anonymously.
Diddy apologized for a 2016 video showing him brutally beating the singer as she was trying to escape him.

“My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” he said in a since-deleted video statement posted on Instagram.
“I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he added. “I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
