Porsha Worried TRUMP will Evict Her … w/ Simon In Custody

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is taking legal action to secure her stake in the $7 million mansion she shared with estranged husband Simon Guobadia, just weeks before he was taken into custody by ICE.

According to official records obtained by Media Take Out, Porsha, 43, and her legal team filed a notice of “Lis Pendens”, a legal move that alerts the county that a dispute over the property is pending. This filing signals that the division of assets in her ongoing divorce with Simon, 60, has yet to be finalized.

Porsha has made it clear that she is “seeking division of each party’s rights, title, and interest” in the mansion, in accordance with their prenuptial agreement.

The 15,284-square-foot estate, which features five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, was purchased by Simon in 2021 for $7 million. The couple wed in November 2022, but their marriage was short-lived—Porsha filed for divorce in March 2024 after just 15 months.

Could the U.S. Government Seize the Mansion?

While Simon remains in ICE custody and his whereabouts are currently unknown, Porsha is concerned about what could happen to his assets, especially under the current political climate. – ie, Trump.

Typically, when someone is deported, they maintain ownership of their property—but with Trump returning to power and his administration’s unpredictable approach to immigration enforcement, Porsha seems to be taking precautions to ensure she isn’t left empty-handed if the government tries to seize Simon’s assets – and kick her out.

What’s Next for Porsha?

As part of her divorce proceedings, Porsha has asked the court to grant her exclusive temporary use of the mansion and to enforce the prenuptial agreement.

Given Simon’s uncertain immigration status and legal battles, this move could be Porsha’s best chance at ensuring she receives a fair cut of their shared assets.

With the government’s unpredictable stance on foreign nationals and wealth, it’s no surprise that Porsha is making strategic legal moves—because in Trump’s America, anything goes.

Will she get her share before the feds come knocking? Only time will tell.
